Messi has Scored 400 Goals for Barcelona – Here are Some of the Best…

It is Lionel Messi at his best!
Lionel Messi became the first player to reach 400
La Liga goals in FC Barcelona’s 3-0 victory over
EIber at the Nou Camp.
The Argentine fired into the bottom corner to bring
up the landmark as Barça went five points clear at
the top of the table.
Messi has scored some dazzling goals down the
years, announcing himself on the biggest stage
when he netted a hat-trick against Real Madrid in
2007.
A week later, Messi was at it again, producing
an incredible solo goal to sink Getafe and draw
comparisons to Diego Maradona in the process.
Messi netted more than 30 La Liga goals in a
season for the first time in the 2009-10 campaign,
scoring 34 times in 35 games.
The forward was almost unstoppable during Pep
Guardiola’s tiki-taka era as Barça dominated
Spanish football.
A hat-trick over Atletico Madrid in 2011 helped
Barça break a 50-year-old record as the Catalan
club won its 16th consecutive La Liga match.
The 2011-12 season was Messi’s most prolific in
La Liga, scoring a remarkable 50 goals in 37
league games.
Messi has tormented Real Madrid during his
career, finding the net 18 times in La Liga El
Clásico fixtures.
His second treble came at the Bernabéu in 2014
as Barça triumphed 4-3.
In April 2017, Messi showed why he’s regarded as
one of the best of all-time, arriving late on the
edge of the box to curl his effort past Keylor
Navas to give Barça an injury time winner.
Messi has nine La Liga titles to his name and with
17 goals in 17 matches this season, he could be
on the way to a 10th.
